Iconic.

Lighthouse bookends combining maritime history, highly collectible Lunenburg Foundry production with colors typical of Nova Scotian folkart.

The Lunenburg Foundry has been a part of the UNESCO town’s history since 1891 , when four men from Yarmouth founded the Lunenburg Iron Company at the edge of Lunenburg’s harbour.

Besides iconic wood stoves and smaller hardware goods for fisherman and homes, the Foundry has played an important part in the rich maritime history of Canada’s east coast.

The lighthouses have a white cardboard backing attached, hence the white back.
