A perfect piece for a collector or tea lover, this absolutely magnificent, sculptural teapot has harmonious proportions, an organic hand feel and is beautiful to behold.

Sally Ravindra’s innovative stoneware and porcelain vessels are found in collections and exhibitions throughout Canada, the US, Europe and Japan. A member of the Nova Scotia Potters’ Guild, Sally has practiced as a ceramist since 1980. Her work appeared in the 2005 book “Studio Ceramics in Canada” by Gail Crawford, and was found in the accompanying touring exhibition, “Seduced by Clay”.

Sally brings the cultural traditions of Europe, Asia, Africa and Nova Scotia in her craft. Waves on the shore, grass blown by the wind and undulating fields of kelp are some of the designs in nature that influence her creations. She uses six different clays and more than fifteen hand-mixed glazes in order to find the variety and depth in texture, form and colour she seeks.
