Leather bound antique copy of Shakespeare’s most famous tragic love story - Romeo and Juliet from 1912. Part of The Temple Shakespeare edition by J. N. Dent & Sons, Ltd. London. The text used was that of the Cambridge edition of Shakepeare.
Decorated with gold gilt lettered title on spine and the Shakepeare family's coat of arms on the front. End papers printed in colour with Shakepeare family's heraldic coat of arms and their motto "Non Sans Droict" (Not Without Right).
Back cover is loose and binding is fragile in general inkeeping with age, but no less charming for a vintage book collection.
