The famous, excellent quality, vintage metal Winsor & Newton lacquered Binning Monro style palette for eighteen watercolour half pans. The black japanning has a good sheen. It opens & closes properly and is marked with the company name of Winsor & Newton (London). These famous palettes are a favorite among European plein air artists and are no longer being manufactured.
An antique wood English painting box is also available. 
The adjustable, collapsible easel in wood is an object of beauty - and is lovely for displaying art even if you’re not a painter yourself. If you are, it’s very practical as it folds closed to just 33”. 
I really love that these objects have stood the test of time and do not contain a single piece of plastic - a true luxury in a time when we’re drowning in ‘disposable’ goods.
